I got these for my '08 base-model Imprezza to fix the awful saggy rear end. Before, cosmetically, the car just *looked* wrong, and I bottomed out a few times when loaded.
Delivery was stunningly fast. Ordered Wednesday, received Friday morning. (installed Saturday!)
Installation is a bit of a chore. You really want a good (easy to use) spring compressor. You need to knock out the existing top hat studs, and that's easier to do if you remove it from the shock, so a shock nut socket is handy too (but a hex key and wrench will work). A buddy to help will make things a little quicker too. Working under a shade tree alone and with a piss-poor spring compressor, it took me about 4 hours for the pair. In a garage with the right tools there is no reason you couldn't do the pair in an hour.
With the added inch on the rear, the car now has the right stance. Though I have not loaded it up yet, I'm sure I'll bottom out a lot less now.
Interestingly, the added inch in the back reduces the infamous Impreza understeer you get when pushing the car hard. There is no question about it: the car tracks a corner better now, with a lot less of that "oh crap!" feeling.
